the european premiere of d-fuse’s ‘surface’. a stunning moving image odyssey that captures the essence of urban expansion in ten cities in asia, created for the onedotzero / british council project re-imagining the city. the hd visuals were just stunning on the huge screen!

pictures from the specially commissioned performance by nitin sawney and a stellar line-up of guest musicians, featuring the emotive choreography of rising dance star dam van huynh, and custom visuals by onedotzero_industries integrated with cutting-edge stage design from es devlin which harnessed the imax’s 20mx26m screen and 12,000 watt digital surround-sound system, in a visionary creative collaboration. the audience itself took centre stage at one stage, invited by their real-time projection onto the vast screen to interact with the multi-sensory performance

phew, onedotzero_adventures in motion, london finished with a bang on sunday night with the launch party for hexstatic’s new dvd in benugo bar, and we are almost recovered. the festival, the first with new partner venue, BFI Southbank was a resounding success. if you made it along, thank you so much for coming, and helping to make this, reportedly, one of the busiest weekends the BFI Southbank has ever seen!
