onedotzero’s creative director and co-founder Shane Walter has landed in Japan for the Tokyo Graphic Passport 2010.

Tokyo Graphic Passport (TGP) 2010 is a diverse creative conference spanning photo graphics, illustration, motion graphics and much more, and is quickly becoming one of the world’s most anticipated creative events! Shane will be speaking in the motion graphic session discussing ‘the frontline of motion graphics’ with fellow speakers David O’Reilly and Koichiro Tsujikawa at 5.30pm, Saturday 25th September, and judging the motion graphic + interactive portfolio awards.

September sees the start of the Branchage School, a week-long residential film course hosted on the Island of Jersey, Channel Islands, immediately before the lively Branchage Film Festival. This years course, Feature Directors Lab, is aimed at filmmakers looking to make their first or second feature film. Directors will be tutored and mentored to develop their own projects and given the opportunity to attend masterclasses with highly acclaimed professionals in development, production, and beyond.

Taking place from 17 – 23 September, accommodation will be at the luxurious 4-star Hotel de France with classes taking place in Jersey’s capital, St Helier. An optional Transcendental Meditation course, to help students unlock and realize their creative ideas, will also running alongside the Film School.

The course is looking for twelve students from all walks of life, from creative graduates, to short film makers and those already working in the industry. Additional places will be available for those who would like to attend our Open Session Masterclasses.

Festival Pass is Free to All Film School Participants!
