onedotzero are thrilled to announce that their 2011-12 adventures in motion festival visual identity has been created by the internationally acclaimed United Visual Artists (UVA).
Each year onedotzero commissions a new visual identity for its global moving image festival and tour, which launches at the BFI Southbank, London, on 23-27 November in 2011. This year, the award-winning UVA step into the frame, with a typically inventive trailer sequence using laser technology.
UVA have created all the elements of the motion identity entirely from light, with typographical sequences reflecting the ephemeral nature of their installation work. Photographed by James Medcraft, the trailer sequence features specially commissioned sound, created by BAFTA and PRS award winning music and sound designer Nick Ryan.
