LIVE AUDIOVISUAL EVENTS ANNOUNCED for this year's onedotzero_adventures in motion festival 2010. With very special live events by DJ Yoda at the BFI IMAX, a 20th anniversary screening and bar event and for Ninja Tune as part of BUG and a special edition of the BFI's regular AV extravaganza, Dark Fibre.

Every bit as important as the programme itself is the sense of community that exists as artists, film makers and practitioners from all areas of technology and the moving image hang out, and this year we have even more lounges, parties and DJ events providing opportunities to meet and mingle with like minded creatives.

DJ Yoda: Stop Look and Listen

Stand back! The BFI and onedotzero have teamed up to present the world’s finest exponent of live audiovisual performance. the super-dextrous turntablist and AV master DJ Yoda, on the biggest screen in the UK. No stranger to breaking new ground and consistently raising the bar in DJ entertainment, DJ Yoda’s multifaceted AV live shows are renowned for being an audiovisual spectacle. Stepping up to his BFI IMAX debut with more than a few new tricks up his sleeves, audiences can expect to experience DJ Yoda’s latest AV expressions in their enormity as he welds B’more, dubstep, drum’n’bass and reggae rhythms to clips from film, TV and Youtube, all with a large dash of his trademark tongue-in-cheek style. With more beats and basslines in the IMAX bar, this promises to be a hot ticket, please book early to avoid dissapointment.

Dark Fibre: Holotronica x Musion extravaganza
The BFI’s quarterly audiovisual club teams up again with onedotzero and Musion Technology, the world leader in 3D holographic projection, to present an exclusive one-off and FREE night of AV performance. Join us as we explore the space where moving image and music meet and play: expect eye-popping visuals [literally], rumbling basslines and a late night!


Confirmed line-up of artists include the latest project from Stuart Warren-Hill, Holotronica as well as AV artists D-Fuse with Brun from Swayzak, VJ/illustrator Shantell Martin and electronic DJ/Producer 10SUI.
