onedotzero's Jo Shallow will be joining a panel at Greenhorn Film Festival to discuss a series of questions about the short film as an art form
The panel discussion takes a closer look at the crossover between short film and artist moving image. How is a short film defined? At what point does a short become experimental or artist moving image? Where does the threshold between art film and short film lie? Does this threshold even exist? Is there a difference between experimenting with film and making a deliberate ‘experimental’ film? How does context and exhibition of a film affect how it is viewed? Exploring expanded cinema and the affect this movement has had on our perception of film.
