onedotzero's Shane Walter took part in the RCA’s professional practice session, which involved a series of morning workshops in the last week of term to give RCA students a grounding in the harsh realities of life beyond the RCA.
The day kicked off with animator Johnny Kelly talking about his journey since he left the RCA. Next was a panel session of screenings and awards that all speakers got involved in.
There was an extensive discussion on funding, which Shane then followed with a panel discussion, talking about onedotzero, our festivals and future.
Finally, Jo Kotas of Smile for London gave a presentation on her journey as a moving image designer.
It was a fantastic opportunity to meet other professionals in the field as well as the future generation of innovators!
