onedotzero produced an animated intro to open AC/DC's touring live shows
Patrick Woodroofe and AC/DC asked onedotzero to produce an intro movie that would open every show on the Black Ice World Tour. The tour design was based on the theme of a 'Rock 'N' Roll Train', the first single from their album 'Black Ice'.
onedotzero put together a team of 2D and 3D animators to create a fast paced 2.5 minute piece in response to Patrick's script. The storyline follows Angus, in devil guise, taking over a train, hellbent on crashing it into the nearest city, only to be foiled by two super groupies. Nearly!
The film finishes as a full-size train on tracks, created by Stufish, appears on stage.
