To promote the latest marine engines from global manufacturer, Yanmar, onedotzero were asked by Dentsu in Japan to create a 60-second video to be played at consumer and corporate brand events and distributed digitally. A filmic split-screen treatment was conceived to showcase Yanmar’s latest sail and motor boat engines across all marine applications, utlising content from a multitude of sources. A dynamic pumping soundtrack enforces the brands lifestyle positioning reinforcing their key messaging of proven technology, sustainability and reliability.
Deliverables included a custom 60-second film edit, an accompanying newly commissioned soundtrack from Arlen Figgis and the creation of a CG engine to be animated and feature in the film.
The film premiered at the Cannes yachting festival, Europe's premier in-water show for the boating market.
