onedottv_global series, channel 4

a twelve part tv series profiling maverick talents and non-traditional filmmakers from around the globe

Following the success of the UK series in 1999 [see link below], onedottv returned to the screens of Channel 4 in Autumn 2001 bigger and better than before.

The onedottv_global series was a primer guide to international moving image, featuring contemporary, original and specially commissioned short films and motion graphics.

The twelve part visual feast included music videos, animation and commercials previously unseen on TV in the UK, and provided a mix of pre-existing content and onedotzero commissions.

Profiling twenty four maverick talents and non-traditional filmmakers shaping the future of moving image, onedottv_global took viewers on a journey from Tokyo to New York, LA to San Francisco, and Paris to Stockholm.
