onedottv_uk series, channel 4

a six part tv series showcasing the innovative edge of uk digital graphic film-making at the turn of the century

Building on the success of the early onedotzero festivals, onedottv was an eclectic TV anthology of original, independent and progressive work by directors, new media artists and graphic designers celebrating the end of celluloid.

Six episodes, at half an hour each, were screened on Channel Four and Film Four in the UK from late April 1999 every Tuesday.

Featuring contemporary short films which push the envelope and challenge conventions, onedottv's programmes predicted the future of visuals. The six programmes combined a mixture of pre-existing and onedotzero commissioned shorts.
